About the Art & the Artist

"The only limit we have today... is our own imaginations."

CEO Guy PowersGuy Powers is a native New Yorker who is today's best known Pin-Up artist using the tools of our generation to create his masterpieces. The models he photographs vary from professional models, to the girl next door, to actresses, and celebrities.

Guy believes that beauty comes from within. With the images he creates he captures the spirit of each girl. Guy creates playful, sexy and artistic images of women. The images combine a touch of yesteryear with the freshness of today. These are the Guy’s Dolls® collection.

Guy has been a professional artist & photographer for over 30 years. He works out of his Manhattan studio, where Guy photographs still life and people both for fine art and for commercial clients. He has not only mastered photography and design, but is superb at Photoshop enabling him to say "The only limit we have today is... our own imaginations." He handles the advertising, package design and photography for a wide variety of accounts, and individuals such as as: Stephen Yearick (Haute Couture designer); Brueton & BonaventureUSA Furniture; Bride To Be (magazine covers); American Pie, LLC (Marie Callender’s Frozen Pies). Private commissions are a growing area of Guy’s work. Portfolios are available upon request.

Guy takes great pride in addressing the concerns of his subjects, be it a model, actor, school teacher, business person, or the person next door. He wants to capture their spirit on film and make them as happy about their Pin-Up as he is. For this reason, the artist has several categories on the menu, from Angels, to Naughty & Nice, to Art Deco.

Guy photographs women and men and then masterfully creates the clothing and look using his computer skills with Adobe Photoshop. He creates backgrounds and the mood for each image. Guy has photographed locations around the world leaving him with a huge inventory of environments to work with. Some start as a photograph, and others are completely illustrated in Photoshop. As an artist, designer, and photographer he has no limits but his own imagination. Once completed, the image is placed in its appropriate category and archived and numbered.
